The role of the Finance Division within the Resources Directorate of Warwickshire County Council is to ensure that the Council's money is spent wisely and in accordance with service priorities. A key element of this role is to ensure that high standards of probity and accountability are achieved. This website is an important way of letting you know how we do this.

This group is responsible for the budget and council tax.

Exchequer
This group is responsible for payments to and from the County Council.

Financial Accounting
This group is responsible for the accounts.

Payroll
This group is responsible for paying staff, members and pensioners of the local government pension scheme.

Procurement
This group is responsible for procurement within Warwickshire County Council.

Treasury and Pensions
This group is responsible for administering the Local Government Pension Scheme in Warwickshire and for the management of the authority's borrowing, investment and cash flow.
